New AIDS Council Boss is Confirmed

Dr Patrick Orege has been appointed the director of the National AIDS Control Council for a period of three years. He has been acting since his predecessor, Dr Margaret Gachara, was suspended on allegations of fraud. The new director is expected to spearhead reforms in the Council and boost government efforts in managing and fighting the spread of HIV/AIDS.
